Alta Badia: A Hidden Gem in the Heart of the Dolomites

Alta Badia is in the Dolomites and the season is December 1 – April. And June 1 – September.

It’s amazing because it’s a region in Italy with it’s own language, Ladin (not Latin, not German, not

Italian, not a mix). As you drive 3 hours from Venice, the mountains grow and become more and more

beautiful. You feel like you are driving through the alps with the winding roads, picturesque towns with

homes and family-owned hotels nestled in the valleys of these majestic mountains.
